English language teaching in community schools across Nepal is poor and needs to be improved. Many teachers and students want to learn how to speak English better and enhance their teaching and learning outcomes. Bungamati Foundation Nepal offers a volunteer program that aims to address this issue. The volunteer can teach English to teachers, youth, and women in different communities. The volunteer can also train the teachers on how to teach English effectively and creatively. By doing so, the volunteer can help the teachers and learners improve their English skills and confidence. Moreover, the volunteer can help the youth and women gain more opportunities for employment and empowerment by teaching them English.
